At Tulasalaya, 41 children from diverse age groups currently call our sanctuary their home. Each of these children has a unique story—some have lost their parents, others were rescued from abuse, neglect, or crisis. While we’ve been able to provide them with food, shelter, and care, offering quality education to all remains one of our greatest challenges.

We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and trauma, and to building a future full of hope and opportunity. However, ensuring an equal and enriching educational experience for every child requires individualized attention, resources, and support.

Why We Need Sponsors

Right now, we are working closely with individual sponsors who are willing to support the education and overall wellbeing of a child. Sponsorship ensures that each child receives:

• Access to quality education (tuition fees, books, uniforms, school supplies)
• Extracurricular development (sports, art, music, field trips, and learning materials)
• Well-being support (healthcare, psychological support, hygiene, and personal care)

Each sponsorship is customizable—you can choose to sponsor just the child’s education or contribute toward a more holistic package that includes their emotional, physical, and creative development.

You are matched with a child based on your preferences and interests. We provide regular updates on the child’s progress, including photos and reports. Sponsorship can be a monthly, quarterly, or yearly commitment. When you sponsor a child, you don’t just pay for their school supplies—you give them a chance to dream, to grow, and to lead a life filled with possibility. Your support becomes the bridge to their brighter tomorrow.
